What do I need for a hike?

Footwear should be suitable for trekking. Such as a fell boot or trail shoe.

Wear sensible walking clothes, not jeans. Wear layers and ideally items labelled as 'wicking',

Waterproofs, weather is very changeable so always pack a waterproof jacket and waterproof trousers.

A rucksack to carry extra layers of clothes, a hat and gloves.

Bring your packed lunch, plenty of snacks and drinks for the day.

Headtorch for is required for the sunset and sunrise hikes.

Can I bring my dog?

Responsible dog owners can bring their well behaved dogs. You will need to have your dog on a lead when around the livestock.

What about lunch?

You must bring your lunch with you and plenty of snacks - Unless lunch is specified as 'provided'.

There are no shops on the fells. We suggest to bring a few extra snacks that can come back off the fell with you if you do not need them.

You must take all your litter off of the fell with you #leavenotrace

What do I need for yoga

A yoga mat is personal. It is always nicer to use your own. If you have one, bring it with you along with your favorite props i.e. blocks, blanket, belt. If you do not have one please let me know in advance.

Can I bring children on the hike?

Group hikes are mixed ability. Depending on the age of your child and their ability will determine whether they are appropriate for a group walk. We would suggest that children under 8, unless in a child carrier, should consider a private hire group.

What is it's raining, windy and/or low cloud?

The Lake District weather is extremely changeable and should be treated with respect. We aim to complete the walk specified. However, route choice will be determined by conditions on the day for safety and enjoyment.
